International Blues Music Day is celebrated on the first Saturday of August with blues events worldwide. This year three of New Zealand's finest blues practitioners gather at the Jam Factory for a night of fun, jamming and a whole bunch of blues, from the earthy acoustic sounds of the Mississippi Delta to modern electric blues.

Kokomo and Mike Garner are veterans of the Kiwi scene, some of the country's most respected blues players, while Joanne Melbourne - ex-Gitbox Rebellion - is electrifying audiences with her powerful and emotive singing. This will be a special night!
