Private and peaceful outdoor venue surrounded by native bush
Tucked away at the rear of The Historic Village, this outdoor amphitheatre is surrounded by native ferns and tall trees and is boarded by our delightful chapel and a small stream.
Three rows of terraced wooden bench seats are a permanent fixture and provide a relaxed place to sit in the sun. To create a more formal look, you are welcome to bring in your own hired chairs. The amphitheatre is capable of hosting 120 people for a wedding ceremony and up to 400 people for other performances or standing-only events.
The 5m x 3m timber stage can be dressed up with floral archways and plinths, or is the perfect spot for a live band or outdoor dance floor. There are multiple entrances to this venue for bridal parties to choose from, and the Village Chapel is automatically booked (free of charge) to provide a back-up wet weather option on the day.
This secluded spot is within a short walk of our other indoor venues and can also be used for a conference break-out session or to serve pre-dinner drinks so guests can mingle outdoors.
