Screening on 13 May is the film, Showing Up - a quiet, character‑driven comedy‑drama about the everyday life of an artist balancing creativity with the small, persistent demands of real life. At its core, it follows Lizzy, a sculptor preparing for an upcoming exhibition while navigating family tensions, artistic insecurities, and the frustrations of her unreliable landlord — who also happens to be a more socially successful fellow artist. Released by A24 and nominated for the Palme d'Or, starring Michelle Williams, André 3000 and Hong Chau.
