With all 3 films Academy Award winners for costume design, come join us at the Village Community Cinema for these inspiring crafty film screenings - think knitting, crochet, hand-sewing, journalling, hand-embroidery, sketching.

Set in 1950's London, Phantom Thread directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, weaves an unravelling tale of love and control.
The film follows Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis), an obsessive and renowned haute couture dressmaker, and his steadfast sister, Cyril (Lesley Manville). Their meticulously fastidious lives are permanently upended when Reynolds meets Alma (Vicky Krieps), a young, strong-willed woman, who becomes his muse.
