Welcome to rug-making using a rug tufting gun!

In this workshop you will be given everything you need to create a 40cmx40cm mounted rug tufted artwork to hang on your wall.

Prior to the workshop you have the option of providing your own design to work from or choose from one provided, which will be ready to work from on the day. Tutoring on each step of the rug tufting process will follow with music playing throughout and plenty of snack breaks! Tea, coffee + snacks provided.

You will have access to:

  • Tufting Frames
  • Primary tufting fabric 
  • NZ rug wool
  • An AK-I Tufting cut pile gun
  • Electric carvers
  • Secondary backing fabric
