The Incubator Creative Hub proudly presents an annual collaborative art exhibition, showcasing artwork by students from Tauranga Girls College for the nineth consecutive year.
Artful Wāhine is an exhibition run by Tauranga Girls' College art Department. The Exhibition is open to all ākonga and they can create an artwork of their own choosing or submit something they have created at school. It gives ākonga the opportunity to exhibit publicly and perhaps sell their work. It takes courage to show your artwork in a public setting and through this experience ākonga can build their confidence in their own artistic ability.
This exhibition is about participation and the opportunity to display their artwork in a safe and supportive environment. The secondary school has a wide range of interests, which is reflected in the work that is represented in the exhibition.
This event not only celebrates the students' creativity but also provides a platform for the community to support and inspire the budding artists of tomorrow. The students will be on site during the weekends so drop by and give them some encouragement.

This exhibition launch preview is Friday 28 August - 5.30pm at The Incubator Creative Hub, The Historic Village, 17th Ave, Tauranga. Licensed Bar onsite, and everyone is welcome.
On display in The Peoples Gallery Toi Ka Rere from 29 August to 19 of September, 10am – 3pm.
