With all 3 films Academy Award winners for costume design, come join us at the Village Community Cinema for these inspiring crafty film screenings - think knitting, crochet, hand-sewing, journalling, hand-embroidery, sketching.Meet new crafty friends and watch great films, all whilst working on your latest (or stashed away) crafty project, and supporting our independent cinema!
Cruella is a 1970s-set origin story of the infamous 101 Dalmatians villain. Set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, the film follows Estella Miller (Emma Stone), an aspiring, rebellious fashion designer orphaned in London. After befriending two thieves, she secures a job under the tyrannical Baroness von Hellman (Emma Thompson), only to discover the Baroness is her mother's murderer, sparking a chaotic, high-fashion revenge plot.
