Join Claire Delaney McLeary for two hours of playful creativity, as she shows you how to build a scene from the ground up. Start with a soft watercolour wash for your background. Then, illustrate your own charming storybook character to cut out and layer, creating a beautiful 3D pop-up effect.

Claire Delaney is a visual storyteller living in Rotorua. Originally from the UK she got a BA hon in Textiles and fashion attributing this to why her characters are always so uniquely dressed. Claire’s style is described as whimsical and playful. She has written and illustrated several of her own books and illustrates constantly for commission work.
