Join Alice Sea & DJ Tāizac for a playful and immersive kids dance party inspired by the somatic dance wave format.
Beginning with gentle grounding music, the journey gradually builds into rhythm games, imaginative movement, dress-ups, circus-inspired fun, and expressive dance explorations inspired by animals and different themes.
The session then winds down with calming live music and sound healing, featuring live flute, harp, vocals, and soothing soundscapes to help children relax and feel grounded.
This is a joyful space for children to move, express, imagine, release energy, and reconnect with calm. Come dressed in your best dance gear, and make sure you have water bottle, too. All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
A dynamic performing artist, music and dance facilitator, and mother of two, Alice Sea is passionate about creating safe, expressive spaces where people of all ages can connect through movement, music, and play. Based in Mount Maunganui, she runs a thriving performing arts academy three days a week while also facilitating and DJing aesthetic dance journeys and community dance events. A multi-instrumentalist, singer, MC, and creative guide, her work blends performance, rhythm, embodiment, and connection — inspiring authenticity, joy, and self-expression both on and off the dance floor.
