Dead Simple are a Te Puke band who play a diverse range of styles from Baroque flavoured tunes and cafe jazz to Rock, Funk and Punk. Somacaine are Hard Rock local legends. Dead Simple are composed of Glen Wilson, guitarist, singer and songwriter who became established in 80s band Unrestful Movements; Lara Wilson, bass guitar and backing vocals; and our newest addition, Sheldon Magee who has developed the songs with a new soul and flare.

Somacaine return to the Jam Factory to deliver a performance chock full of tasty riffs, splashing drums and driving bass to dose you with groove. This time around the boys are bringing a newly refurbished set brimming with energy that refuses to be interrupted by fire alarms. Somacaine are... Chop: A "mindblowing" guitarist with a "unique" style Ryan: Their "prodigious" drummer Andy: The "personable" and "talented" bass player. or at least that's what Lara thinks, come down and see for yourselves. She also reckons they're a bunch of really lovely guys but that bit's a load of rubbish.
