How does it work?
Have an idea you know needs to come to life in the world? Or a challenge you or your community wants to solve? Learn how to think, work, and build like a startup in 54 thrilling hours. Startup Weekend Tauranga is back after 4 years with an exciting and immersive foray into the world of startups and community initiatives. Over an action-packed three days, you’ll meet the very best mentors and co-founders of business and community initiatives to show you how to get more done faster -- and, maybe even start that business.
NB: your project idea must not already have statuses, generated turnover, communication already set up, etc. You may have already worked on it a little but the idea is to (almost) start from scratch. And, you must be accepting of the opinion of the other members of your team to evolve your idea.

What is included in the ticket?
Meals on Friday evening, as well as, Saturday morning, noon, evening; Sunday morning, noon and aperitif after the award ceremony on Sunday evening. Coffee and jokes provided throughout. All the organisation, the provision of the premises, the juries, etc.
What to expect:
Workshop sessions in small groups: collaborate, plan and develop the business idea.
Guidance from experienced mentors: site all weekend to help you and your project move forward.
Final Pitches and Prizes: On Sunday, pitch to a panel of expert judges and members of the community to be in to win!
